At Yale New Haven Healthcare Federal Credit Union, you always have a choice of insurance products.

Insurance is a familiar financial tool that we all need, but seldom want to think about.  We make it easy for members by providing appropriate kinds of insurance protection without the hassles of prolonged deliberation. 

 

Basic AD&D insurance in the amount of $3,000 is provided to members when they open an account at YNHHFCU.  Members have an opportunity to sign up for optional additional coverage for themselves or their family members.  Payments for optional coverage are deducted automatically from your account.

 

VISA® Life & Disability insurance is designed to complete your VISA® credit card payments if you are unable to do so as a result of disability or death.  Member may choose either life and disability coverage or disability coverage only.  A small insurance premium amount is added to your VISA balance each month.

 

If you are out from work for a minimum of 14 working days, Temporary Disability Insurance can make your loan payments for you.  This coverage must be taken at loan origination.  A small premium is added to your monthly loan payment.
